The NM790 is one of the coolest running drives and is single-sided if that matters to your device/cooling solution. I run them in a passive cooled enclosure and never throttle with 100% duty cycle.
It's also, IIRC, faster than the SN7100, cooler (lower idle wattage drive), and has a larger 3,000 TBW rating. There may be some other drives out there that now fit my need better, but the NM790 is where I ended up as the perfect compromise for a mobile or passive unit.

I look forward to when they put these on .97 clearance. A good 30% discount would make this an attractive deal.
