I read this for a college class and I would recommend it. Interesting life and interesting person.

He didn't write it. My copy had a chapter at the end where the writer talks about interviewing X and X being very rude, lol.

It's an entertaining read for sure. The part where he is burglarizing peoples' homes is pretty illuminating.
