Do NOT open water tank Cap when it's hot. Think of car coolant fluid. (Made mistake and had to clean up the ceiling) 😆

Not this one, but one that looks to be identical (without the Shaper Image branding). It works fine, it creates steam. We use it for cleaning. There's a light that changes color when it's hot/steamy, and that's when it's ready to use. When you're done, be sure not to open it until the color changes back to safe.
