In all seriousness, probably. They always get cheaper over time.
Either you are really lucky or we were very unlucky. Either way protection plans have saved me a ton of money in the last few years as I have had to use them on a TV, a refrigerator, and just recently a robotic vacuum.

This same C4 77" TV was $1599 brand new from the same retailer 2 weeks ago.
