Almost certainly a price mistake. Goveelife has their all new 1s (v3) smart water sensors for an all time low with code TAKE8 ($8 off per order, do multiple orders). Shipping is free. These work alone as water sensor alarms, but require a hub if you also want remote phone alerts.

Hub + 3 Sensors $35.99 with TAKE8
1 Sensor pack $7.99 with TAKE8
3 Sensor pack $31.99 with TAKE8

The trick is to do one of the Hub +3 and then do multiple orders for the 1 sensor pack or for the 3 sensor pack.

I've never seen such low pricing on the new v3 sensor. If you've got a house or condo or property, now is the time to buy. (Each hub can pair with up to 100 sensors and each sensor has a 2 mile signal.)

Get informed of a leak in your home from anywhere in the world. Pair with a smart water valve to shut off your water valve automatically in seconds when a leak is detected. Most people underestimate the amount of sensors they need: put them underneath all sinks, behind toilets, water tanks, behind fridge, under dishwasher, under jacuzzi. It can also be put on the first shelf of the fridge when upper freezer leaks.

Product Details:
The GoveeLife Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector offers ultra-sensitive detection with dual sensor probes, a 105dB customizable alarm, and a remarkable 1804ft long-range monitoring capability.
  • Stay Ahead of Leaks: The sensor flashes red with a 105 dB alarm, notifying you via email or app. ensuring you're informed even when away.
  • Long-Range Connection Distance: Advanced Sub-1G communication technology is adopted with a remarkable 550m communication range, making sure that every corner is under surveillance.
  • 5-Year Battery Life and IP67 Waterproof: Longer battery life than most products (average 2 years) - no frequent replacements needed! IP67 waterproof rating design withstands moisture near dishwashers, sinks, and washing machines.
  • Feature-Rich App: Receive instant push notifications, perfect for busy homeowners who need 24/7 protection and effortless control. Use the "Find Device" feature to quickly trigger audible beeps to retrieve misplaced sensors.
  • 4-Level Volume Adjustment: Ideal for loud daytime alerts or quieter nighttime warnings, and you can use the app to customize alert volumes effortlessly.

Check if your home insurance offers a discount for leak monitoring. It might cover the cost of the sensors.

I noticed the pool thermometer says specifically it works with alexa... anyone within the govee ecosystem know if this one works with alexa as well? or is just the govee app itself? I didn't see anything on the site that specifically mentioned any outside compatibility.

Have they fixed the sensors? On the old ones, once the alarm went off, there was no way to shut it or reset it

I bought a 3 pack of these last year and they work. I've had a few leaks detected with them.

You just wipe them off and they shut off when dry.

I wish that worked. I went back a day later, a few days later, a week later, and finally a month later with no success.

Initiate a replacement request for those units in the app. That's not at all normal. Try the newest versions. I haven't seen any similar complaints about v2 or 1s (which is v3). On a side note, I love their products but I hate their naming system!

It was beyond the 1 yr warranty so I was offered a 20% discount on the purchase of govee products. I still have one govee sensor left, and have gone with other options.
