which one? There's a Ryobi 6 tool kit from 2 weeks ago.

Three big downsides with this DeWalt kit... the small batteries (2ah) which are fine drills, flashlights, etc. but wont last too long on a grinder or saw. The battery charger provided is probably the worst one DeWalt makes, and all the tools are the 20v MAX vs the XR which are typically higher quality, brushless motors, etc. For occasional use as a homeowner, this wouldn't make a huge difference however.

All of that said, if you dont own any tools and are looking to start somewhere, this isn't an awful deal at all and will give you all the basics to complete and clean up a project.

Ehh I disagree. Brushless motors are significantly more powerful and this is very noticeable in tools like circular saws, jig saws, multi tools, etc. Even for a DIYer. Some of the non brushless tools can be so underpowered that they are slightly dangerous.

Don't get this. Don't buy tools from woot and don't spend this much for just the 20v Max, get XR if you are going to spend this kind of money.

Fear of counterfeits.

This deal is dead rn but I'd keep an eye out to see if it comes back. It seems they are giving craftsman dewalt tech now or in some cases just rebranding dewalt to craftsman
