Basically a disposable brush after a few months. The rubber button wears out and the internals have been changed to be more plastic than the higher end models. If you call them when it dies or has water intrusion, or the rubber around the lug gets moldy, they will replace it not problem, but it's kind of a pain to do every 6 months.

if you want hassle free, get a high end sonicare or the cheaper Oral B IO. Make sure you rinse the Oral B as instructed though!

Yeah, I had the one that uses C2 brushes. The button wears down after 6 months, but it still works. Is the C1 better than C2? I really liked the C2, it's durable...

yes, mine turned out exactly same situation and looking for a replacement. I am not sure it makes sense to buy electric toothbrush every 6 months now.

have had this for few years, I just now get generic toothbrush heads on Amazon and it's been doing fine! might get an extra one so I can have it at work for a midday brush
