a known inspection date of 7/25 and known storage conditions. on the expired slickdeal from the 6/25 inspection dates they sold out of the last comment said he got those off amazon and they were 12/24 inspection date. and with amazon you've got to be careful with who the actual seller is. king's has theirs stored in an air conditioned warehouse, not sure about webuydirect, who has a 75% feedback score. worth $2 extra a case to me for those two things to be known.

Not as good but most of them taste fine. Not gonna blow your mind but you won't hate eating them for the most part.

Bought 4 the last time this was up and was incredibly impressed with this company's communication, shipping and speed. Still used a virtual card because they're not a major retailer but if I ever bought from them again I probably wouldn't take the extra time to do that.

These are for emergency kits for areas prone to disasters, such as Florida and other Gulf Coast states.

I live in California, and buy them for when the big one hits. I'll be eating warm food while others will be eating cold beans out of cans.

When I was in the military, we had k-rations, which I found very tasty when hungry, during typhoons.

Honestly, after eating these for 4 years 20 years ago, I'd take beans over them any day. But I like your intended usage. I think these with a mix of beans would be great in bad situation. Thanks for the context!

I imagine backpackers and campers use them too since they contain a heat source.

In any event, if I never have to eat them, I will be OK. But if I need to, I will be ready.

Great for long road trips, especially in the winter, e.g. driving home from college for the holidays. Truck drivers would probably benefit as well. So would circus clowns.
