I'm clueless when it comes to power tools but I know my husband needs a ratchet set and was going to jump on this until I saw that home Depot also has a ratchet set with only one battery for $129.99 but the ratchet is both 3/8 & 1/4 inch
Which should I buy? He isn't particularly handy or any it recently needed a ratchet set when putting a cart together. Any suggestions?

This one is the brushless model which will be more powerful and be more durable. Also, the 2 extra 4ah batteries are worth almost $100 by themselves. If he isn't already locked into a power tool brand, this is a great way to get some extra batteries for cheap.

Nice, I have the long one that I use all the time.

This will be great for tighter spots.

Ugh, I just bought the multi-head one yesterday for $120 (tool only), but I'm going to return it because, as it turns out, I really only use the 3/8" head.

That said, I don't need any more batteries.

Just having the ratched head be decreased by 20% means zilch. Its the EXTENDED REACH that you REALLY need. Otherwise, yeah the head is 20% slimmer, but then you got that fat ass body like right there.

I just did a timing belt job and the body and battery attachment of these thing just too big. Nothing beats the slim m12 ratchet from Milwaukee.
