Also made by Acemagic which in the past various tech sites have found with unremoveable malware even after a reformat and BIOs flash. Not a trustworthy company avoid.
I purchased an Ace Magician, reformatted it and installed a clean OS. It bricked itself. Would take 20min to load into windows and not wake up from sleep. Returned it.

Please stop spreading false information!!!

Yes, in 2023 they had one shipment where a third party supplier they used tried to circumvent the Windows account requirement and the hack they used had malware. It was also on the recovery partition so it would still be there if you used recovery to reinstall. But a clean install removed it.

Yes, that is shady. Yes, it was bad. NO, it was not in the BIOS.

I picked up a KAMRUI E3B Ryzen 5 7430U 32GB RAM 512GB SSD about 6 weeks ago from Amazon for $268 and I formatted it with Windows 11 Enterprise IOT LTSC and it's been powered up non stop - I'm planning on using it as a Plex server rather than hosting Plex on my ESX cluster, so I've been thrashing it to see if it will be reliable. It performs without issue, boots fast, all the ports work, etc. - I've never purchased anything but name brand servers and ThinkPads, but this seems like a nice little box for the money.

have you tried plex yet? I wonder if the system is powerful enough to have no issues transcoding?

edit: nevermind. I forgot i have a 3.5 10TB that this wont fit anyway lol

Acemagic support is awful. I had another one of their PCs with a known power issue and I asked for help and they told me to just go buy a new one.
