Right? I would just go with the macbook at this spec and price. Samsung is over charging.

I'll be that guy who disagrees.

This is a solid price if this is the device you want. I am a fanboy, I said it.

I've had really good luck with the Samsung ecosystem for more than 10 years and, with the exception of cars and appliances, it's the only brand I am interested in buying.

If you are simply comparing this device based on specs, than I'd argue you are on the wrong thread.

I prefer to NOT use Apple so therefore I am Windows and Android.

Also, I buy nice, so I don't have to buy twice. I am also very picky. I am a repeat buyer of Galaxy Books. To me, no one else makes a readily available Ultrabook line (Pro models) that are better than these devices (specifically "Pro" models). High-end Surface devices failed my standards multiple times.

I have zero problems saying that Apple makes better hardware fwiw.

Avoid Samdung Galaxy books. They will use every excuse under the sun to deny you warranty support and try to blame your for it. See the forum complaints. Avoid

The Samsung Book 5 is aluminum and does have a fan.A 15" MacBook Air with the same spec is at least $1300. Unless you NEED a Mac, then buy a Mac.Keep in mind this is a 2in1 tablet/laptop with touch and Wacom pen digitizer. Not just a clam shell. It also has a 3K OLED screen. For my use case is higher priority than more ram (16gb is more than enough for me).I would say the sale price is a solid deal for a Windows laptop, especially a 2in1 with a 3K OLED screen.

I just love that it can use the apps my mobile devices use, like samsung notes. Just that not worth the price.
