Right? I would just go with the macbook at this spec and price. Samsung is over charging.
This is a solid price if this is the device you want. I am a fanboy, I said it.
I've had really good luck with the Samsung ecosystem for more than 10 years and, with the exception of cars and appliances, it's the only brand I am interested in buying.
If you are simply comparing this device based on specs, than I'd argue you are on the wrong thread.

Also, I buy nice, so I don't have to buy twice. I am also very picky. I am a repeat buyer of Galaxy Books. To me, no one else makes a readily available Ultrabook line (Pro models) that are better than these devices (specifically "Pro" models). High-end Surface devices failed my standards multiple times.
I have zero problems saying that Apple makes better hardware fwiw.
