Where you are not helpful is you aid all switch games at higher framerates and resolutions. That's just not true, there's a handful that have been optimized but many play as is. Just commenting on that since that may affect someone's purchasing decision.

If that user hasn't played BOTW, TOTK, Metroid Dread, etc, they will still enjoy those games on the 1
Plain and simpe, the S1 is just really not worth it at close to $300 entry point.
...well, that's debatable.
Switch OLED came out October 2021, less than 4 years ago... even original Switch is only 8 years old, not 10.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think paying nearly $300 for a Switch 1 makes sense now (even the OLED model with a game) unless you just have absolutely no interest in ever getting a Switch 2 or future games. But the Switch OLED is not a 10 year old console.
