Although the RTX 5050 is not a very powerful graphics card, it does give you access to the latest DLSS and frame generation capabilities. Overall this system looks fine for value gaming.

If you regard the 5050 as a $200 part (what it should be worth and may drop to), then it's $576 for the rest of the parts. Otherwise, $526 counting its MSRP.

The 14400F has been stupid cheap, around $100. But currently $130 at Newegg.

Then there's been other pre-builts with similar specs and pricing (Omen in June, Nitro in July - refurbished) but using the RTX 4060. I regard the 4060 as better than the 5050, as in most reviews I've seen it performs slightly better while using slightly less power. But sure, the new DLSS multiple frame generation exclusive to 50-series could tip the scales in favor of the 5050 if you aren't opposed to using that feature. Maybe the 4060 pre-built deals are going away... but a 5060 is only $50 more than the 5050's MSRP.

I think Skytech might have better build quality and standard parts compared to HP and Acer, which could make it easier to upgrade later.

So it is what it is, not horrible for someone with basic needs who doesn't want to build it themselves, not too exciting. 16 GB DDR5 is a little low but can be upgraded years later when we see a cyclical dip in memory prices making it cheap to grab 32/48/64/96/128 GB... all of which can be reached with just 2 DIMMs.
