With this bundle the 1-year Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack is only $25 rather than $50, and it allows you to get free access to the enhanced switch 2 versions of BoTW and ToTK along with the expansion pack for Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing (you need to already own the Switch 1 versions of those games to get access to that content). Those all range from $10 to $25 on their own. Additionally, you get access to classic NES, SNES, GBA, N64, and now (exclusively on Switch 2) GameCube games. Note that after downloading you do not need to be online to play those games.

Of course, it includes the benefits from the standard $20 Nintendo Switch Online features like online multiplayer and cloud saves.

For me, flawless emulation of those games is pretty nice and worth having the subscription for alone.

Sorry that wasn't clear... I already have a family + expansion. The individual code is useless for me.

Got mine on launch day and don't know what to do with the individual membership code. Wondering how much trouble it would be to try to sell it off for cheap.

I sold mine for $35. It did take a couple tries because people weren't reading the description saying it was for new accounts only.

Did you sell it off in person? Or they sent you money for the code?

I'm thinking of getting this for my girlfriend and myself. Can someone explain to me the main difference of this bundle vs the $499 bundle on like Amazon? Is this Costco bundle worth the extra $25?
Thanks!

There's subscription service that this Costco bundle includes for a set period of time.

Ah I see now. Thank you. Would you say it is worth having it? I wouldn't say I'm an avid video gamer. Would probably play on occasion.

I never played switch 1. Just got switch 2 from Best buy. I don't see myself using that subscription thing. I did just spend $150 on a bunch of games that are offline games.

The extra $25 for Switch Online Expansion would be worth it for me. I like the classic Nintendo games like Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. And there are some popular Game Cube games rumored to be coming to the service.
