With this bundle the 1-year Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack is only $25 rather than $50, and it allows you to get free access to the enhanced switch 2 versions of BoTW and ToTK along with the expansion pack for Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing (you need to already own the Switch 1 versions of those games to get access to that content). Those all range from $10 to $25 on their own. Additionally, you get access to classic NES, SNES, GBA, N64, and now (exclusively on Switch 2) GameCube games. Note that after downloading you do not need to be online to play those games.

Of course, it includes the benefits from the standard $20 Nintendo Switch Online features like online multiplayer and cloud saves.

For me, flawless emulation of those games is pretty nice and worth having the subscription for alone.

Sorry that wasn't clear... I already have a family + expansion. The individual code is useless for me.

Fark Nintendo and their business practice, nickel and dime everyone. Nostalgia can only go so far. Seriously how many Mario cart you need to play? Same shit slightly different stuff
Exactly my sentiments. It is just that Nintendo has a hand on such a gold mine that despite being hostile to their own users, they still get millions of new users every time. Welp, anyone with such a luck would have done this.

This bundle was $500 at launch (Costco w/NSO). Still a good "deal". Like paying MSRP for a 5000 series GPU is a "deal" these days.

It's been $524.99 since day 1 at Costco.

Lots of sales tax holidays start today, bummer being over $500 disqualifies this from Ohio's. Keep that in mind because Walmart and Target both have them in-stock and that's a $35+ savings from taxes for anyone that applies to. Was looking at Target because I have a Target card so Mario bundle is $475 qualifies for no taxes, this bundle + taxes is $560 for me, NSO+Expansion can be had for $50 or less.
yep this was the catalyst for me to get it from target, tax free in Ohio

No it wasn't. I literally got it the first day from Costco, it was $524.99 the whole time.

Wish I could just buy the console through Costco. We already have one switch 2 and bought Mario Kart and the family NSO membership. 5 of us and everyone wants to use the switch. No use for a 2nd Mario kart or single person NSO, and too much of a hassle to sell them.

You get the HD version of BOTY and TOTK games with it. If you have the base games I would suggest revisiting them. My biggest beef is for the price that they are they should absolutely have included the DLC for BOTY so people can experience that.
You don't "get" them, if/when you leave NSO+ they go poof

Off topic a bit here-I have the physical version of botw and totk. Can I get the upgrade or do I need to buy a whole new one

I didn't even see your comment, but yeah the policy is a little confusing... is the Switch 2 a tablet, a computer? Is it a 90 day return policy or the 4+years I've heard people returning TV's during?
