Apple MacBook Air 13 in. 16GB RAM 512GB SSD with M4 Chip $899
The M5 is coming out last I saw, next spring. It was targeted this fall but chip supply issues. And that would only be for Pro models anyways since the M4 Air just came out.
Apple just reported sales yesterday and saw double digit growth in Mac sales, so I don't think they flopped. Not sure why they're on sale, this isn't usual for Apple.

Retired, Discharged, or a Veteran?
If you are a new retiree or honorably discharged veteran, there may be a delay in the Exchange receiving your updated records. If you have an issue logging in to your Exchange account, please allow at least 72 hours for your account to update. If the issue continues, contact customer service.
Why is my Social Security number needed?
Only authorized Exchange customers can order from the all services Exchange Online Store and the Exchange Online Mall. Since we are unable to validate eligibility online by viewing each customer's Identification and Privilege Card, we must validate eligibility through the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). The only information available for eligibility validation purposes is Social Security number and date of birth. For this reason, when first-time customers log-in to our site we are required to obtain the last four digits of their Social Security number, along with a date of birth and last name. The first time customers enter our site, however, they will be required to create a new Username to replace their Social Security number. Please be assured that we do not retain your Social Security number outside of the DEERS system and we take every measure to safeguard your personal information (for details, refer to our terms and conditions section, then click "Online Security Guarantee")."
Serious question - did these flop or is there a new chip coming out very soon?
I think the stock price is tanking and these guys are making upfront profits by selling volume before any tariffs hit to weather the tariff period with lower sales. Imagine 25% more expensive products so sales might drop 25% more or less.
The deal lives on for another week! I ordered one last week, and had it at my door within 3 days.
How does a veteran get access? I mentioned this to my uncle who is a veteran, and he had not heard of this site. I tried to find info for him to join, but it isn't clear what he needs to prove his veteran status. Given you ordered, I'm taking a chance you have some info?

I never heard of AAFES either until I saw someone post a deal on SD. @dougpaw57 provided some great info on how to do it. I recall the process being very quick and simple when I registered a few years ago. I spoke with a live agent to verify some information after uploading my dd214.

How have you never heard of AAFES if you were in the miltary? Maybe Guard or Reservist that haven't been on base/post. Heard of the USO? I'm pretty sure the class 6 is AAFES

1. I was in the Marines, not the Air Force or Army. 2. Back in my time I served, the internet was still fairly new. We had PX stores on base but nothing online.
