Sure no problem. Head over to your local recruiters office and they will set you up for the start of your 8 week bootcamp journey.

I keep seeing stuff about cancellations and security breaches with this site... are you guys receiving your purchases? Did this sale ship to anyone already?

Thanks

I've never had a problem. The security you are talking about is that people are trying to use credit cards that are another family members, or they aren't linked to the legal address in the AAFES military verification system. There haven't been any breaches. If you are an eligible veteran, and you aren't trying anything weird with your credit card, the sale goes right through. As far as all the apple cancellations, that's all on the vendor who is fulfilling the orders and drop-shipping the units.

Good info thank you. Seems like there was a breach almost a year ago with a lot of unhappy victims getting scammed

That thread really doesn't pass a smell test for me. The top four comments appear to be from legitimate redditors while the rest have low karma and low post counts. Of those four, only one of them was actually impacted by any sort of breach (and that could have been something on their end, not the exchange's end).
I've used the site before without issue. If there was a breach, that sucks, but I actually DID have a breach from Target affect me and I still shop there too; that shit happens. The only thing these companies can do when that happens is admit that it happened, provide some sort of extended credit monitoring service to anyone impacted by it, and take steps to not let it happen again. But again, that's IF it happened and I'd want to see some actual reporting from a journalist who investigated the matter or a reliable whistleblower, not random comments on a reddit thread. Although I really don't understand why anyone would bother to lie about such an experience, I still don't trust them as sources. Even if they did get scammed in some way, it may very well have been something on the buyer's end.
Whatever the case, I wouldn't call it being scammed which makes it sound like the Exchange actively endorsed or encouraged it. Either way, I'm not saying that your concern isn't valid, just that I don't find it concerning without a better source to collaborate the claims being made. It does sound like they had a data breach of some sort in the past... emphasis, past.
