Somehow a clearance battery doesn't inspire confidence in me

Amazon has a large selection of knock offs at similar pricing. At least you'll get customer reviews. Enjoy

I have used off-brand DeWalt and Porter Cable for several years without any problems. The one negative is that they usually have about 10-15 percent shorter run time compared to the equivalent OEM batteries.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Ruyi

I have it, purchased from Amazon, two for $60?
something I can comment,
#1 capacity - it is NOT a 6AH of ryobi 40v , even not 4AH ryobi one, but better than 2ah,
#2 durable - so far they are fine, have them discharged and recharge more than 5 times, so far so good.
DTO has https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ry40930vnm for $140 + $7 shipping (SAVE30 code) , some store might have 40% off, I will say that 4AH is much better than this one.

Ryobi's coming out with the 40 volt Edge batteries like they did for the 18 volt so I'm pretty sure the regular Ryobi batteries are going to come down to where they're more accessible to those of us with fixed incomes

Oh by the way there's an app called whatnot it's where resellers go to sell their stuff online kind of like eBay except this is an auction you can pick Ryobi batteries up like that 60 volt for like 50 bucks and they'll tell you the year and everything on them so you might buy a 2023 but you only pay like 40 50 bucks the apps called what not
