Anker included a led light in the C300 which is pretty handy. EcoFlow decided to reserve this feature for the Trail 300 Plus coming out later; might have been a mistake imo
It's complete junk, doesn't even compare to the Anker.

Literally everything. Light, good app, far more usb ports, good solar input, Tri charging (solar and dual USB all at the same time) and more. It's also smaller. These ecoflows can't even come close to comparing.

Yeah, those are all very good advantages. IMO the many USB-C and USB-A options make it great for charging lots of small devices. And USB-C charging is perfect for this size of power bank. They even have a version with AC which is very useful for camping. Much easier to deal with than the EcoFlow River series or any bigger power banks
I think they are still offering that if you order Directly from Ecoflow.
I personally do not use my River units for AC power very often just not a big enough battery or inverter. A DC only smaller option makes sense.
AC Inverter, Light, Closer Cost, Etc
The C300 DC is the direct compare to the Trail 300 DC
In that accurate comparison I am not saying I disagree that the Anker is the better product.
I just bought both to test and give a more scientific answer based on testing/facts and not so much just reputation or specs sheet.

Actually the C300 AC variant is also superior to any EcoFlow AC product in the same category, I've used that one as well.
Having used EcoFlow extensively I feel like their one standout product is the Delta Pro Ultra. It is just the most capable and well-designed piece of equipment but you absolutely pay for it. Obviously they have a lot of competition coming from DIY and even much cheaper power station makers like Pecron. And the segment is getting more and more competitive daily
Their mid-range products are significantly behind the competition. Overpriced and rife with proprietary vendor lock-in.

They are not very portable, to make good use of it you still are going to be paying an electrician to install a panel, so why not installed an all in one inverter panel instead for cheaper that has more features, more flexability, more performace than the Ultra.
I frequent the Ecoflow pages on FB and Reddit and I see a new horror storry every day from a new owner, usually around firwmare, software restrictions, and other odd problems having to deal with the Ultra/Pro 3 and usually the Smart Home Panel.
You just do not see this level of issue with other products, but you also do not see a mindless horde of zombies pushing products so blindly from the other brands. Ecoflow has built themselves a little cult following, so its hard to speak against them in any area they moderate what is said.
Specifically the Delta 3 Plus for $600 was the sweet spot that got me into their ecosystem and I have been very happy with it compared to what else I saw on market at the time (1000w solar, 15ms UPS, 15A worth of AC output, etc) it made a perfect hybrid grid tied system to replace my UPS's and also save me a ton of power with solar.
And in doing it th e way I did, no permits, its off grid, despite having on grid benefits (except for selling back power) but power pass thru, grid charging, grid/battery failover, UPS, etc all working even when the more expensive Delta Pro Ultra cant do the same thing (have EPS 15ms UPS mode on with self power mode)
But step up to a real system a DIY system from Victron or EG4, etc not only will you get a more robust system at a lower cost (especially after adding batteries) but suddenly all the dumb issues like battery balancing, and not being able to use the 240v input and output at the same time, not being able to use EPS and Self Power Mode, etc etc.
All those restrictions and issues are suddenly just gone with other solutions, they do not require some crazy firmware and cloud service to work, they just do.
That is not to say they are a perfect 1:1 replacement for a UPS it depends on what you need and why.
