I'd take this over a refurb. Solid brand.

Looking at the pictures and reading the description, this unit is only 120v. There does not seem to be a 50 amp outlet (even though it states it has a 50A outlet in the description) nor does it support 240 volts. The outlets are all 120@20 or 30 A. Maybe not a deal breaker for some but this limits usage. If that fits your needs, then this seems like a good deal.

It's an inverter unit. I have only seen one or two capable of 240v. In general almost all that are clean power inverter units are limited to 120v. If you need 240V then look at all the non inverter louder ones or you'll be looking at a much higher cost. One of them being the Honda 7000is at $4500. Be very careful reading description. Twist lock "outlets" can be dual purpose 120/240 depending what they are installed in. Yet "output" is another thing where the other is a descriptor of the type of outlet installed.

Description says 50amp, product photos show no 50amp. Also, no electric start. Pass.

Yes as I explained above you have to be careful reading. It has a 14-50R. Which is terminology to describe a 50A straight blade outlet. Doesn't mean that's what it outputs. Just what kind of plug it will accept. Many bigger RVs use a 14-50P plug but only use it for single phase 120v circuits. Not having an electric starter I get it but it's also saving about 40 pounds by not having a starter a battery and all the insulation that makes equivalent ones 100 pounds. Meant to be portable so it makes sense to keep it light over adding those things in this case.
