Yall do realize this is just a DC battery bank right? I don't see why anyone would think it could be used as a UPS or what you would be powering via USB that..... needs that?

There isn't much of a scam going on here, it's just Ecoflows entry to compete with Ankers C300. I will say that this product is dumb though. The Anker C300 DC is often in the $150 price range and it comes with a lantern built in, a DC car port, and a solar charging input. All things that make it substantially more useful for weekend camping which a device like this is marketed for. This product just doesn't make sense in the ecoflow lineup when their river series exists and it so close in price and size.

This feels like it's between a large battery pack and an actual power station, but doesn't offer the strengths of the others. Depending on the situation, I'd just go up to the river 2 pro I have or a 20k battery pack.

Quote from VioletHealth8715 :
Because there's a lot of people out there who don't know the facts, they don't know what Wh means or most other things. They want to get in on the power station craze going on but the 20+ minute reviews and "guides" on YouTube and elsewhere overwhelm them.

So they'll grab something like this. It's small, it's simple, it's not intimidating.

This wasn't designed for people who know the ropes. It's designed and marketed for the new guy. Are there better products? Absolutely, but the people buying these don't know that and won't care until they learn.
Translation: This product is only for stupid people.

It sounds to me like this product shouldn't exist, because even stupid people deserve better.
