Bought this last time, pretty good output even on my balcony w/ a 20' run of 12 gauge, charges at ~150W on a normal day.
Very handy that it has essentially a USB hub built right in for DC-DC charging, in addition to the MC4-style cables for compatibility.
Be aware though that this is bigly, unfolds to 9 feet.

Long and short, that's not going to be feasible at this scale. This type of panel is really suitable for someone charging a battery that they will use over the next day or three for very limited off-grid stuff like recreation, camping, etc.

The solar is actually much simpler than it seems

Here's the most basic setup.
You need something to collect the sun's energy. That's your solar panel.
You need something to store the collected energy for use now or later. That's a battery.
Then you need something that can safely take the energy from the solar panels and convert it to a voltage safe for your battery. That's the charge controller.
Then you need a way to get the energy out of the battery to your appliance or device. That's the inverter. It converts DC energy from the battery into alternating current at the correct voltage.

These little solar panels are good for charging power stations or your own DIY battery storage things. Let's say you're a car camping person. You might have a power station like an ecoflow or some diy option doing the same thing. You use it for a laptop, coffee maker, hot water kettle, lighting or induction cooktop. But you need to charge that battery. This panel will let you do that.

The other scenario: you live in a place prone to disasters. Like fires, hurricanes, earthquakes or ice storms. You don't always need power, but you might to keep devices charged, run a radio, TV, lights, or something. In that case, you would charge the battery from the wall when the weather watch happened, and if it gets bad you'll use the battery and solar panel in conjunction to power things and recharge the battery. If you had to shelter in place, you might like having a gas-free, generator free way to have some limited lighting or a fan.

The final use that *might* have a shorter payback would be if your power company has time of use where some hours of the day are really expensive. If you had a suitable battery and inverter to where you could power a heat pump or window AC unit for that 4-6 hour window, while charging the battery at the cheap times or in the sun, it might work out okay.

You'd need maybe 8-12 years before the payback on a large scale solar system would breakeven. This type of system will never breakeven.

Completely Shattered? Nope. These aren't made of glass. They are fiberglass . They don't shatter. crack? break? sure. but completely shattered? nope. not even if driven over with a car.

I bought a panel from them via AliExpress about 3 weeks ago. It arrived completely shattered and destroyed. Box looked fine. YMMV but that's the first and last time I go that route.

website won't let me add the promo code once I add my credit card info. Have tried different devices and browsers. Gives me an error message that I cannot add promo code due to security reasons.

I got this with one of the flashlights in June. Never figured out what that was. But I was able to buy this last time it came up without issue. Arrived undamaged.

I bought one last time. It came in perfectly. Passed my test with an old power station that I can only be charged at 60w.

Guess I should have waited to buy these. I got this one and the 220 watt version for about $140 each. I tested them out my delta 2 and in full sun they pulled in almost 400 watts!!

Ran two of these just flat on the ground with the sun not at high noon, got 360W into my C1000. Really nice.
