there's another listing... woot is doing a sale where if you add any two products from a list of Amazon basics ones, you save $5. there are some $2.99 products that come to two for a dollar after the code. these speakers are one of those products, so if you add another, you'll save an additional $5

I agree that you are reading it correctly. But I recall seeing a vaguely similar deal on a the exact same item, and receiving the incorrect number of speakers.

I bought these speakers. Audio quality isn't great but they're cheap so I wasn't expecting them to be, however they kept making a strange clicking/hissing sound a few times per day that was too annoying for me so I returned them. I don't know if the ones I got were just defective or if the speakers/wires aren't shielded well from outside interference, but I thought I'd just share my experience.
