First time post. I saw this today and took a quick pic. My local Walmart have these above ground pools on clearance so it's YMMV. Check your local Walmart periodically.
It's close to end of summer so I bet more outdoor stuff will be on sale.

Do you have to take these down every winter? Not like the full steel wall ones where you can empty to below the filter level and put a cover on it?

No, we left ours up outside for years. Initially we took it down for the winter the first couple years, but mice ate through the pool when it was stored in a container outside (the mice ate through the container). It had a lot of holes from the mice.

Just leave the pool about half full through the winter and you'll be fine. We still emptied the pool, cleaned it and put fresh water at the start of the next summer. It was kinda gross finding all the dead squirrels, chipmunks, etc when emptying & cleaning it out.
