That isn't true. Other keyboards have copied Wooting's popular designs, but they don't come close in use or performance. It's just like in the mouse market, lots of brands sticking parts in a mouse to say they're top of the line, but most have issues. Very few cheaper keyboards live up to the hype and none really compare to the best (yet). I would love to see it, though.

The difference with keyboards vs. mice though is you can usually swap out a significant chunk of what makes it suck. For example, most of these knockoff keyboards let you swap out switches and keycaps. This isn't the case with mice. I bought the AULA F99 keyboard, swapped out the switches for those whose pressure I more prefer, and the keyboard is as good as my older expensive DasKeyboard models. I still use an MX Master 3S though since nothing I've used has beaten Logitech yet.

The Master 3S has a known failure problem that Logitech refuses to correct. I love it for work, but I've already had two fail and I haven't bothered to attempt repairs. With keyboards, they're more than just keycaps and switches. Performance and reliability varies.

It's practically the same hardware. The build quality might be slightly worse but it's going to perform pretty much the same. The biggest difference between something like this and a Wooting/Razer/Logitech is that the biggest companies will push out firmware updates often while the cheaper ones probably won't. Just like how when Razer came out with Snap Tap which gave a huge advantage in some games Wooting pushed out a firmware update soon after with their version.

Reliability and measured performance varies. There are a number of folks who've measured the latency and compared them, only a few have come close to Wooting. It really depends on why you want a keyboard like this and what it's worth to you.

I'm not denying the Wooting is better, i've owned a Wooting60HE since it came out but a difference between .3 and a .1 ms means absolutely nothing in real world application when the average person has a 300ms response time. Wooting will excel with better QA/QC, long term support and software that wasn't rushed and thrown together but if you just want the benefits of HE keys on a budget and you're coming from a traditional mechanical or membrane keyboard this is a great upgrade
