So there have been a number of deals for a 5070 Ti, 9800X3D, 32GB, 2TB system for ~$1900 so what this build has is the 5080 and 64GB of RAM. It seems like decent RAM too (DDR5-6000 from the spec sheet) but together that's like ~$350 more than the $1900 5070Ti deals and this is refurbished, not new. It certainly was never a $4000 PC at any point so that price is completely made up.

Why don't you check the prices of similar builds and specs, first? It's not even about the original price, but that, for $2500, this is a good enough deal, if not great.

the MSI Aegis at Costco with a 9900X, 32GB, 2TB, 5080 is $2599 and that's NEW, admittedly that's a little bit of apples and oranges but this price seems high for a refurb IMO.

There is no comparison between 9900X and 9800X3D, the former doesn't hold a candle to the latter.

Userbenchmark is an awful comparison for components besides what the advertised specs of a component is and entirely unreliable for benchmarking for more than a few years now (plenty of articles if you're interested through a quick Google search).
9800x3d is better solely for gaming, for example it can get upwards of 20-30fps more in 4k gaming in the same setup. The 9900x is definitely better for non-gaming usage however.
