I'm playing this game as well, and I'm absolutely loving it!!!
Quite honestly I considered it a significantly better version of super Mario Odyssey, although I don't really see your Zelda reference.

It's like Toad games meets wreck it Ralph with an odyssey feel. You can pick it up play for two minutes to find items or progress in the game for hours.

Should be $40. Once you've smashed one level, everything is basically rinse and repeat for toddlers the rest of the game.

Stat boosts, skill trees, etc. It's has an element of gathered experience in the game beyond just getting better at the game. Those doors you sing/punch open are seem very shrine inspired like in botw and totk.
