There is one big design flaw with these tipes of fans, they can't aim down, you would have to put it lower or the same height as where you want to fan, it doesn't sound like a big deal, till the situation calls for it, then you'll be bummed

Anyone have one of these, and is it worth it? I'm a big fan (har de har) of desk fans, but $40 is still pretty steep. Has anyone ever paid even $100 for one of these?

Don't see voltage specs on these. Mostly I see 240V for these on ebay.

I wonder how loud it is on a real setting. 20dB at level 1 of 12 doesn't tell me much. I also don't see that it has a clip option. I'm pretty happy with the one I got for $15 on Amazon from some China company that disappeared right after I bought it but an upgrade to something quieter with a dc motor sounds cool.

Had this issue with many fans. Set a book or car keys or anything under the back edge. Instant tilt down function Smilie.

It's a DC fan, which can be much quieter than AC fans. 20db is very quiet. A quiet dishwasher is ~40db and loudness halves about every 3dbs

I'm actually curious how good this fan is. I find it sad that a lot of older fans from the 70s/80s/90s using Lasko motors are still far quieter and more powerful than most modern fans found anywhere today.

That got me to buy one too. Had a Wazoo from Costco that died and needed an air mover in my camper

This one has "multi-directional oscillation that bounces air off walls and the ceiling to cool the entire room." The remote has oscillation buttons for left-right and another for up-down. So maybe it's possible to aim down?

I read the review and it seems only the 1056P is good. This 1056 is too low in most case
