just got it yest. and it's a good overall toaster, not super fancy and does what you need. I am happy with it as it replaced an older Hamilton Beach and I think this one looks nicer and work well.

Do you get an annoying buzzing/ screeching noise when it's doing its thing once in a while? Lasts briefly but its being doing it consistently since I picked it up in march..

I bought the Oatmilk one when it was on sale. The entire body was plastic. It arrived cracked. Got a replacement and it had a burning/electrical smell. Maybe that might have worn off over time. Ended up returning it.

As stupid as a question this may seem, does this toaster actually toast BOTH sides of breads/bagels? I've returned three toasters to Amazon for only being able to toast one side.

It should. The bagel button turns one side off but I don't remember which one.

You sure you're not using the bagel setting? That intentionally toasts one side.

So, as I expexted, uneven toasting. One edge toasts well, the other barely touches it. Was yours the same? I wonder if it is a defective unit and whether it is worth getting a replacement instead of returning it
