Personally prefer the Webroot one for how light and fast it is. Costs more but you can often find good deals on 3 years subscription on eBay.

Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't checked ratings in years so I'm disappointed to find out. I've been using them since the spy sweeper days and it's always worked great for me but admittedly I'm not surfing shady sites. Well not anymore

No problem, just trying to be helpful. Also, I asked ChatGPT to rank the best antivirus software from 2025 and to search expert reviews and reputable sources and it returned this result. This product Bitdefender Total Security came back with the highest score.

I currently have Bitdefender Internet Security with 80 days left...is it best to enter the code after the expiration or do they extend from from my 80 day expiration

I think extensions only apply to the same product, which, in your case, this won't be.

I think the timer starts the moment you buy the key, not when you use it.

Edit: oh, it extended my sub - guess that changed some time in the last 2 years...
