Amazon reviews of these dying or other issues after X days are scary if you filter to only reviews for this monitor.

I've had this monitor for 4 months now. On two different occasions the screen froze to where I had to unplug it then plug it in again to get it to properly work again. However overall I'm happy with it personally.

There's a post on Reddit with a ton of comments with people saying the same happened to theirs.

The Asus one I got a few years back for $1400 is like that. Gotta unplug and plug it back in for it to work. For me though it's like once a week lol

I'm glad that these enthusiast 'gamer' monitors have dropped so much in price. Hope it keeps dropping so when mine fully dies I won't be so screwed lol

$1400 and having that particular issue is unacceptable. Any issue is unacceptable at that price. I paid $750 for mine. I'm also glad these OLED monitors are slowly dropping in price. I do regret buying this monitor since tandem OLED monitors are launching this year. But I had to buy something because my previous monitor broke.

Yes, I like the random screen freeze feature as well. It adds a unique challenge to online gaming.
