Does not have dram and it is priced as a premium drive. I don't think it is a good deal. Good drive though

I wonder what's that steam deck picture doing there when this clearly cannot fit inside of one.

Edit: the device shown is not a steam deck. It probably will fit in whatever the hell that is.

If you need 2x 4TB drivesright now that isn't a terrible deal. This class of drives including the Samsung 990 Evo Plus have been hovering around $230 for 4TB. So ~$204 each is decent. You may get lucky and see a one tier up sale between $200->$250 of course.

How so? You're getting two drives for the price. Seems decent especially for the 4tb.

You don't need DRAM to have great performance anymore. HMB is proving very viable. Plus it means it runs cooler and more energy efficient for laptops.

$407.98 is the price for TWO 4TB drives, which works out to ~$204 per 4TB drive.

Comparable for Reads: For read-heavy tasks like booting or gaming, DRAM-less SSDs perform nearly as well as DRAM SSDs, as reads are less affected by the lack of DRAM. DRAM is ideal for intensive workloads like video editing, 3D modeling, or database management.
