Slickdeals $9.49 retail price for these is a hoax. Amazon says list price is $4.99 and that is a reasonably accurate average price for the last 12 months.

I'm seeing:
Amazon shows list price as $4.99
90 day average per tracker is $5.88 or $6.31 depending on seller
HIGHEST price $9.89 or $16.87 per tracker.
$6.49 regular price at office depot. https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...-Pens-Fine
Slickdeals does occasionally go out of its way to find an obscure high starting price 🤔
We've tried that one. From personal experience, the same model pen with 1.0mm is our favorite pen. If you prefer an ultrafine, that would be a great choice. A little scratchier but good ink delivery, and comfortable.

If we stopped producing all pens, we'd still have enough for centuries.
When they started making that, they might as well have stopped making all others.
