I'm gonna try it. I made my own fake shibumi with tent poles and a microfiber beach blanket that worked great. But now I can have two fake shibumis incase we need the extra beach shade real estate with groups in the future.

Do the rods coil down for carry or how does that work?

Thanks. I really want a shubimi but I can't justify almost $300 for a tent shade and pole that maybe cost $15 to make. Think this may be a good alternative

The "Walmart" item is sold/shipped by a third party seller. So I'd take that price comparison with a grain of salt.

Mercatalyst is Meh, SideDeal, MorningSave, Shop Univision and Casemates, but I can't post wine.

Good to know.

So, Mercatylst price via Walmart vs Mercatylst price via Meh

Bummer about the no alcohol policy lol. Grey market license keys and fake ETL electronics sure, but discount wine SD DRAWS THE LINE. 😆

This is the first time I jumped through every hoop I could to buy a product and couldn't. I was blocked at least 10 times before I simply gave up. Hell with it. I really wanted this. My brother is a fishermen and LOVES the beach. He can't use his canopy alone as it's too heavy. This was PERFECT and the right price for us. I really wish I could have got it. But I tried 3 cards and every way I could think of trying to and it just won't let me. IDK why but I'm pretty upset about it.

This isn't a Shibumi-alike - it's a tent with four points and an anchor line. If your beach cares about these things, that matters.

I bought it, worth a shot at the price. Am I wrong? @abstraxion Why can't you just use the front pole and use it like a Shibumi-alike device

It could be because of your browser's auto-complete fields? My order wouldn't process until I typed out each field by hand, turning them from blue input fields to white input fields. Worth a shot?

I just made my own too via this - https://youtu.be/v-U0cr8ZOwYDid you do yours the same way? I ended up getting enough materials to make two or the XL version

Yep! Basically the same, I didn't go with the sand gopher and umbrella bases. I did paracord and the bag off the front. I spent the same about the same as the cost of this "Zingtoo" setup so a good deal if it works.

Just don't use the 2nd rear pole. Just set it up like a normal shibumi. I guess keep the 2nd pole around in case beach patrol is against shibumis.

The material on the zingoo looks like it may not be quite as nice as the microfiber blanket. I will prob stitch the ends as the edges where the tape is started pulling back and some sand got stuck to the exposed tape but it is solid. I did use the umbrella stakes plus the screw in anchors which worked really well. So you were able to anchor yours down just with a sandbag? Did you just stick the tent poles straight into the sand or something?
