$419 for a 1 pack? This is supposed to be a mesh system.

No reviews on the eero website, I see…

Do your research. Lots of features require a monthly subscription service for eero devices.

Why not get stand alone WiFi 7 access point from ubiquity for $199? You can install it on your existing network, no other ubiquity equipment is required.

For $400 you can get two, but to make it work in a mesh you will have to drop another $100 for their router, so in total probably close to $600 for router and two AP points

I deploy Unifi gear at 7 locations for work, I have an Eero Wi-Fi 7 mesh system only because Frontier gave me three of them for free with my 2 gig fiber line. They're great for free, but sometimes I'm still tempted to shell out for the Unifi system for my home.

I swapped from unifi at home to eero a while back for simplicity sake and ring support, I've been pretty happy. Running 6e's in my house now but the eero 7 max pricing has been making me look at unifi again. Trying to figure how i could update my wiring to make them ceiling mounted and sleek. Most of my drops are on the walls.

Yes, same way that some of the latest phones are "free" from mobile carriers.

Bank of America Deals credit card has it for $359 and all Eero 7 models and combo packages for 40% off through the Amazon Hub order link. Was about to get 15% off Best Buy router trade in but this is the same price I paid last Black Friday.

Same price at Best Buy, but you can trade in literally any networking item at the store for an additional 15% off. Which is what I just did to buy this thing for like $350.

Unsure why the actual Amazon price didn't change, but they have 20% trade in coupons with that route.

I still don't know who really needs any router over $100, let alone the ones this expensive. For streaming movies or games even an ancient modem and router is fast enough.

This is what I did. Tried Eero 6E, Asus XT8, before coming to Unifi. Experience is night and day in terms of reliability and speed for the same price.

Depends on how many devices you have. If you have a smart home, a basic router'll get bogged down pretty quick. If you just have a couple of laptops and phones this won't add much.
