Show me 32gb (2x16gb) DDR5 and 1tb NVME (3.0 or 4.0) for under $100.

Cheapest I could find with a quick search is $125 for a junk 1tb nvme 3.0 and 32gb DDR5 sodimm.

99% of people would never see a difference in teh speed of a 3.0 to 4.0 nvme speed, unless doing a very specific task, like video editing. You wouldn't notice in gaming.

This is a pretty good deal for specs and even has oculink built in.

if you have any plans to get more memory, you're better off buying the barebones from Ali for ~230. 32 gigs of memory and a 1tb SSD are not worth $100, IMO, and you can't control the brand or interface. my m7 came with a pcie 3.0 SSD, for example, not a 4.0.

I installed windows server 2025 on it. I had to manually search the drivers for everything. It wasn't too bad… I think they only have windows drivers though, but from my understanding, I thought Linux was better with universal drivers?

Guys, if you're wanting a mini pc, I'd suggest getting this deal or similar soon. With the tariffs that hit on August 1st, I bout this barebones version on AliExpress for 300 plus $25 additional cash back and now it's listed at $490 barebones on AliExpress since August 1st.

Could be another TACO event and there are little to no tariffs as well.

If you're looking then this seems like a decent system. But I think many are spending money they may not trying to get a "deal".

I'm personally saving and only buying if I really need something but we're all making our own choices. I rather have cash in my pocket at least for the next year or so with all the uncertainty going on.

You're totally right here. Everyone is cutting costs left and right and a lot of companies are losing money. There have been reports of Verizon removing all loyalty discounts starting August 1st and dewalt has been struggling as of recent. Save as much as you can.

I actually just caused in on equity from an old company I left. I want to put it into the stock market, but I know it's time to crash, especially with he greed index so high. I'm keeping it in he money market until S&P dips $100+, then putting it in.

I got one of these for my mom. It has power management issues. She has to power it off every time she's done with it because it won't reliably come out of sleep. I'd love to hear of your ideas to fix this.

my fear is hyper inflation. if %70 (a number I pulled out of my butt) of our goods go up in price, people will demand raises and price on other things will hyper inflate. so the $1000 bucks you had saved will buy 3 weeks of groceries instead of 4. and the raise you are about to get was held off because the company is uncertain about the future. (which means they are worried about short-term stock market gains).

both of you, just stop, this is one of the poorest macroeconomic and financial discussions I have ever seen. Please stop spreading such random disinformation, none of what your saying is even remotely realistic or shows that you have any clue what either of you are discussing. Stick with DCA and buy and hold, jesus.

Seems like this would be a solid PC for general home use, agree? Current PC is 10 years old, boggy, and cannot be updated to Windows 11.

I'm basing this off the market being highly over valued, seeing short term pain from the tariffs, and the economy still not performing too hot. Feel free to give your opinions, but let's both get this straight. We are long due for a recession, but the government has been propping it up. You can't time the market, sure… but it's when the government loses control of it that it will hurt even more.
