Whether you need any of that or not is up to you. If you don't blend a lot because you don't have much of an interest in blended foods, that's one thing. But if you don't blend a lot because using your blender is a terrible ordeal, AND, you wish you could blend more, consider a Vitamix.

The gf said she'd make smoothies because this will blend up the ice well. I don't think we need the food processor so I'll wait for a $200 deal on their lower end models but thanks for the info

The nutribullet was used the most. It blends well enough and is one less thing to wash because it blends directly in the cup. Downsides were the motor has a smell and if you accidentally overfill the cup it might create a vacuum making it very difficult to open.
The Vitamix Ascent isn't compatible with smaller containers like the 32oz, which also made it annoying to dry in a dish rack since the 48oz is pretty large.
People can hate on nutribullet all they want, but from my experience having a Blendtec Total, Vitamix Ascent A3300, and a Nutribullet Pro+ at the same time, for smoothies I kept going for the nutribullet. This is not a blind fanboy opinion having not used the other brands side by side. I'm basing this off of years of use. It does not blend nearly as well as the Vitamix, but it's good enough and much more convenient to pull out.
