If looking for a personal item size bag in this category, unless you must have the shoulder duffle conversion, I would pay a little more and get the Daylite 26+6 for around $100. More capacity, more organization pockets etc. Zero issue with Ryan Air during a recent trip as a personal item. The Daylight 26+6 has back luggage pass-through sleeve to slide into the roller handle makes it quick and convenient to get the bag off your back. My new fav travel bag.

Have used this bag several times with no issues as a personal item on airlines. convenient to switch from backpack mode to over the shoulder messenger bag mode. Deal breaker for me personally there is no exterior water bottle sleeve/pocket and no latch points to attach one without keeping it secured.

If looking for a personal item size bag in this category, unless you must have the shoulder duffle conversion, I would pay a little more and get the Daylite 26+6 for around $100. More capacity, more organization pockets etc. Zero issue with Ryan Air during a recent trip as a personal item. The Daylight 26+6 has back luggage pass-through sleeve to slide into the roller handle makes it quick and convenient to get the bag off your back. My new fav travel bag.

ahhh love the info that it's Ryan Air passable. I've been eyeing that bag for sometime. I wish they made other colors

they are trying to mimic Cotopaxi with some crazy ugly color combos but I have the grey, and the black looks fine as well
