Why's it so heavy?
5.5lbs when you can get equally powerful laptops that weigh 4.1. Or that Asus TUF right now which costs less and weighs 4.8lb

dell use to be crap with good support and warranty.
But it seems that due to the economy, now they are just crap!
They killed alienware time ago when they bought it.

Horrible prices. 5050 laptops should be $599 and 5060s $799. This is even priced over better spec laptop prices. I'd wait until black friday or xmas.

What equally powerful laptop at any price point can you get that weights 4.1 lbs in a 16 inch laptop? That TUF though is probably the best laptop deal around right now until it runs out of stock lol.

build quality wise, Lenovo is much better, Not sure why Dell LCD panel is always like 300nits, all < 500 nits panel should be banned.

I really like how this laptop has HDMI, USB-C, and USB-A all on the "back" of the device.

While you might be able to get a better bang for buck spec wise, this is a very attractive looking laptop compared to the others that are much more gamer looking. I would be okay with having this in the office.

Would've liked to see 1TB ssd instead of 512 though. That's not enough storage.

Because these can actually cool themselves properly. Also, magnesium chassis.

I used the 10% off new customer coupon, and then Amex $100 off $500. Paid $709, which I say is worth the extra $60 over the Asus Tuf.

Agreed that full stack makes this much more competitive with the TUF.

Rear ports are one of my dealbreakers. At a minimum power+HDMI (Or some display output). One of the biggest failpoints in my experience with laptops has always been the charge port on the side because no matter where you use it, that port is going to randomly get tugged. Being out the back also means when it gets pulled instead of putting pressure on the system it just unplugs usually.

Bright screen, 10 key number pad, rear AC/HDMI are my 3 deal breakers for a laptop. Got to have those 3 or I won't want it for me personally.

So it doesn't make sense to buy this pc because;

it has base rtx 5050 and it will be power hungry compare to implemented options coming from Ryzen. So battery life will suck.

it is heavy, you can use it as a desktop replacement or if you are strong

it has 120hz but a very bad panel imo

16gb ram is a joke and should be banned even for chromebooks. Virtual Memory doesnt work as good as you think.

Soinstead add 300 more bucks for 1200$, you can find a future proof pc better than this with rtx 50 or 40 series.
