You'd best avoid whatever low rent solar charge controller they'd include on this even if it was free.

Not a bad deal... but it's a 120V charger, not a solar charge controller, otherwise I'd be all over it

Anyone have experience with the Eco-Worthy brand? Have been looking at Redodo batteries and wondering how these compare.

If I just need to charge my laptops, phones and camp lights while camping, will a 1000w pure sine wave inverter work just fine?

You'll probably find as many opinions on this brand as you can imagine. I've had a couple of EW 12v 100ah installed in parallel in our camper for over a year without any problems. Paid around $150/ea for them on sale. Camper is using an older power converter that probably only charges them up to 70% full, and that's just fine for me. Don't know if their battery quality is getting better, but I'd buy them again on sale without thinking twice. I would love to get 10 years out of them, and be major money ahead vs buying deep cycle lead acid every other year. However, one opinion that I read a while back was that you need to consider that the built in BMS is el'cheap-o and won't probably last as long as the cells themselves.

Been using a 50 ah EW battery on my boat. It's been great. It has a Bluetooth BMS which is really nice for monitoring charge levels

Yes.
If you need to bring a 1000w of lights, computers and phones camping, you're not camping though.

You need to look at required cranking amps. These batteries are more like a house battery on a boat, runs your 12v systems, but often certain engines require sufficient cranking amps or starting amps.

Would be handy, can do USB-C (bi-directional, can charge battery too), USB-A and has the 5.5 DC (bi-directional as well) port to run 12V stuff like routers and cameras, no inverter needed. Good deal at $147.89.

edit: also has bluetooth for status/cell monitoring. DC port is 5525 12V/5A

Yes. Slow, but doable.

edit: Confessional time: I have the V1 of this (no Bluetooth), and used the PD-USB on the dash of my Jeep 4xE to recharge it...fell asleep, and woke to find DCHouse battery mostly recharged, Jeep battery dead. LOL. So it does work.

Project Farm had this charger in a recent comparison. It didn't win but didn't do bad. Lost points for arcing with the negative terminal if already turned on when hooking up.
