If you convince your door to be a conscientious objector they aren't subject to drafts in many countries.

Make sure to get a color that matches the door appropriately. These are silicone, so you won't be able to paint them to a different color with a traditional latex paint later. Otherwise, these install easily and work well.

Weird, there's a 10% off coupon code on the product page for the 2x pack, but even after clicking 'redeem,' and it showing as 'redeemed," there is no discount. The product is listed as eligible . The code also doesn't take anything off when entered manually in checkout PIRTVYKP . ::shrug::

This applies with adhesive only. The one on my door is broken and that has metal screws. I'd expect this adhesive to fail and leave a mess. If it doesn't fail, I'd expect this to be a nightmare to replace when it inevitably rips. Either way it seems like a bad idea.

I bought a different brand with the same style adhesive attachment for my primary entry door four years ago. I had to attach it so one side drags on the carpet (as the frame is off level) and, even so, it has not ripped or begun to detach during this time so your concern would likely be an issue for another decade or resident.

I bought this Silicone Seal Strip [amazon.com] (10M/33ft for $9.99) last year. The glue is not very strong.
I may try this Vellure® Door Draft Stopper.

Anyone who installed it but screwing it into the door instead of relying on adhesive, knowing it was not meant for that? Curious to hear if that lasted since adhesives might not work well for everyone.

Update: nm saw a previous post here that says metal screws might do more damage, adhesive only

Heard these are a bad idea for doors that aren't opened often. The gap under the door is there both so that the door opens without scratching the floor, but also to cycle air between the house and room.
