I've got one of these. It works for lighting candles, but that's about it. It's only a couple bucks, so who cares, but I probably wouldn't buy again. Regular lighter is cheap and honestly more effective. The wind resistance of this never comes into play because it only lights candle wicks. lol

As per one of the reviews "Bought to light fireworks this 4th of July. Took a bit of time to get any of the fuses lit. Not as efficient as the little torch I bought to try too."

how do you light your candle in jar when its half used with your cheap lighter?

We only buy Bath and Body Works 3-wick candles. It's never a problem. That said, tilting the jar and a little skill was all I needed to light the large Yankee Candle jars long before these lighters existed.
