I'm seeing a 20% coupon on $61. Total before taxes is $49.18.
if these are actually forged as stated in the product specs, this could be a decent deal. No description of the steel quality, but you can't expect that at $10-$15 a knife. If you need two or three of these or are looking for a beater set, looks like a great deal.

Based on the bolster they are definitely forged, although it says with German steel, they were likely forged in China based on the price alone, but I could not find details to know for sure.

But def 100% forged knives and with the description of the German steel that they used you can reasonably assume it is X50CrMoV15 steel, but no way to prove based on this listing.

I'm familiar with these knives- they're really decent quality and well made. Do keep in mind these blades have a high carbon steel content, so they will get patina/rust spots and you'll want to keep them wiped down with a neutral vegetable or canola oil.

Carbon steel is great to keep sharp for a long time as it's very rigid, but the disadvantage is natural corrosion.

Stainless steel is softer and requires more sharpening/honing to keep the edge. The advantage is stainless won't ever rust.
