I have this and it has been great no complaints. Used it for about 8 months now 3-4 times a week. I would t say im a super heavy lifter but I've loaded the pulley system with over 300lbs and the bench I've done over 300 as well and it feel solid

I've got something similar but paid more for it. I've used it for a few years now.
1. This is a bargain. The shipping alone is worth $100. If you don't routinely use more than 400lbs, you don't need better. If you're putting 500lbs+on the bar, you've earned the right to a heavier, stronger rack.
2. It will take you an hour + to assemble.
3. Everything works well. You will have to pay 4x+ for something that is noticeably better. If you use the pullies a lot, you will probably eventually want something smoother, but again, you're going to have to pay 4x+ for that, and the guy that paid 4x+ will have no training advantage over you.

I recommend this to anyone on a budget or if you're somewhat new to fitness and you don't know what matters the most to you. Get this, use it a few years, demonstrate you have the discipline to train regularly and learn what you really want. Then you've earned the right to splurge on your dream rack.

I've been lifting 30 years, and I'm using something very similar to this.

any rack will move if not bolted down or weighted. Put some weights on the weight storage pins and /or the pulley system and it will be solid.

You need to buy bumper plates right? It doesn;t come with any bumper plates so basically useless until we buy the plates?

The weight plates are a separate purchase from racks yes.

Temu has much better racks for about $599. I just ordered mine and expecting it this coming week. Hope I don't regret it.

I got all my gym equipment off there. It's legit. I even returned one (due to space issues, not an issue with the equipment) and it was seamless. They paid for return shipping and all. I was pleasantly surprised.

Which one did you get? Wish I had seen the M4 clone but had both pulleys terminate in the handles for easy switch between 1:1 and 2:1 ratio. I use the 1:1 hack now but not as convenient as built in.

This will definitely compliment my treadmill; the added height will keep my hems from touching the floor!

Is there any recommendation of a smaller home gym for a light weight newbie?

Its good but for the latpulldowns for me it works best sitting on the floor rather than a bench
I see conflicting info about the lat pulldown (not) being high enough for some individuals. Do you see that as being an issue? Yeah, sitting on the floor is a possible solution, but not ideal for me.

Same. I have an earlier version of the rack. Got it as a hold over but super surprised at how well it held up. Only down side was I broke the landmine attachment second use.

Yea it is an issue thats why I just sit on the floor which really hasn't bothered me

Got this off temu for $280 the beginning of May/end of April. I think it only went that low due to tariff scares though.

I use it regularly and I'm quite pleased with it. Mine is not bolted down. I actually have it set up on a slightly graded cement floor and it's still stable. I haven't put more than 400 lbs on it. The only time I've noticed rocking is when a neighbor came over and started doing muscle ups.

The cage is shallow, but only takes a few workouts to get used to spacing yourself. I didn't care about the pulleys when I ordered, but they're very nice to have.

Just drill a new hole towards the top of the post and that will solve the issue.
