The Falcon A1 Pro laser engraver from Creality is on sale for $659 for the base unit at the Falcon store. Shipping is free and there's a pack of purple acrylic sheets included with the device. There are also bundle options that include extras like a honeycomb panel, rotary tool, and air purifier.
The A1 Pro has a quick swap mechanism for laser heads. A separate
add-on head [crealityfalcon.com] will also be available (still shows as available soon) for engraving metal, if you get the A1 Pro now it comes with a 30% discount on it.
This model is fully enclosed for safety, has a built-in display and Wi-Fi, and supports file uploads over the network so you can run it without plugging in a computer. Unlike the previous Falcon lasers like the A1, the A1 Pro comes with autofocus. It also has the built-in camera which helps with alignment. The optional metal engraving module uses a different wavelength and expands material compatibility if you need to mark items like steel, brass, or aluminum. The 20W blue light laser module it comes cuts and engraves on wood, cardboard, leather, acrylic but will only engrave few types of metal (stainless steel, anodized aluminum).
