This supports pass-through charging. You can charge the battery bank while it's charging your laptop.

The reason this is a deal is these are outdated versions that lack safety certification for use on aircraft in China. The Chinese government now requires ANY power bank to have a CCC certification mark on the back, which means it passed their rigorous safety testing protocols. There are literally millions of power banks in China that do not qualify and Baseus and other manufacturers have warehouses full of non-compliant stock they are now dumping at a discount to the Western export market. Baseus has had some safety issues with their power banks and they have lost a lot of trust in China, just like Romoss and Anker have.

I wrote Baseus about their current compliance and they confirm they are liquidating non-compliant stock in their export channel but claim they do meet RoHS and C E certification, but not UL. Going forward they will also export CCC compliant power banks once the less-certified stock is depleted, so you might get a CCC one.

For those attempting to use the promo code along with trying to get the free item, you won't be able to. Amazon doesn't seem to generally allow stacking codes or promos like they used to. If you read the OP listing completely through, they state "Note, promo codes do not stack with other coupons on product page" Basically only one offer can be applied per order.

I got a couple of these battery banks several months ago through a Woot deal. I've used them for travel a couple of times, and just around the house to charge my laptop, phone, or Legion Go. Been flawless for me so far. Easy to slide into the front pocket of my backpack when I travel without and issue.

Bought one on Woot for $40. I use it to charge my Thinkpad T490 laptop. Charges good and has been holding a good charge.

got it from previous deal with the same price, its a litter heavy comparing to regular pack, but it does charge macbook and phone at the same time. always keep one in my backpack.

I wish they made the "blade" power bank in a 40000 mah that's longer/wider (essentially the size of a 15" laptop) that you can carry around with you. It wouldn't be allowed on airplanes, but would be killer to slide into a backpack for locations that don't have outlets and you need just that extra bit of power for your laptop. I would buy two of the 20000 mah, but that would get too thick.
