Where do you get 7 cents per KWh price electricity? Our total electric bill is about 19 cents per Kwh. (Electricity cost + Delivery and other charges + Maryland taxes)

Yes, where do you get that? Or are you just using the advertised per kwh rate which at Delmarva is 10.5c/kwh but if you add all the other charges it's like 16c/kwh

Well, 1170w, roughly 1kw, which is 1kwh/h, so .07 x 24 x 30 ~ $50/month. 1700/50 = 34 months
The usage is not going to be evenly distributed over all hours, so in reality, it's going to be much longer.

Where do you live to get full sunlight 24 hours a day? I think you are slightly confused about how solar energy (and batteries) work.
