180W PSU. Yeah, the new Arrow Lake CPU's are efficient but that's still kind of hilariously low. You have to add it to your cart to see this.

From what I've seen, what you're referring to are mostly the SFF systems that don't have a 7-class CPU and have very limited expansion options by design. This is a mini-tower system with three PCI-e slots for expansion. With that PSU, those slots are pretty useless except for maybe an extra NIC.

Don't do it if you plan on adding GPU. These boxes are tiny.

Would someone be kind enough to point me in the direction of the best pc to get? The most intensive thing I do on it is running ConvertXtoDVD (yes, people still buy dvds). I have a Dell XPS 8300 right now with the HDD upgraded to an SSD, but it says in October it will stop receiving updates and it doen't have the correct components to upgrade to Windows 11. I just need something comparable to that.

you can continue getting updates easily until October 2026 for windows 10 enrolling in extended security updates. The link below shows how to do it and gives you at least 1 free way to do it..

"Consumer ESU program cost
You can enroll in ESU by one of the following three ways:

At no additional cost if you are syncing your PC Settings

I purchased this computer. What made me very angry is these new Dell desktop computers no longer have a line-out connector jack. Dell decided to eliminate them. If you have external speakers that connect with a 3.5 aux cable you will no longer be able to use them. Dell got rid of the line-out jack to save five cents. What else did they cut?.

I mentioned the same issue earlier. I ended up purchasing a USB-C/A Sound Adapter from Creative. $14 shipped. At least an easy enough workaround.

Use the headset jack for output

That thread title needs a lot of work.
It's a very good value, but I wish they had the Tower Plus model for this price (Model EBT2250).
$699.99 -- you'll need to load Windows yourself, (change memory config to 1 x 16GB is free), half the size SSD but powersupply is 460W.
  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265 processor (20-Core, 66MB Total Cache, 1.8GHz to 5.3GHz)
  • Ubuntu® Linux® 24.04 LTS
  • Intel® UHD Graphics
  • 16 GB DDR5, 2 x 8 GB, 5200 MT/s
  • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive
  • 460W Platinum

Too bad is can only handle one SATA drive. Would've made a nice NAS otherwise.

The integrated graphics of the Core Ultra 7 265 should be faster than a Ryzen 7 5700G. Not amazing, but better than you might expect. It's about twice as fast as the Radeon 610M iGPU in Ryzen 7000/9000 desktop CPUs:

https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...5k/23.html

This review is for 265K, which has the iGPU boosting to 2 GHz instead of 1.95 GHz of the 265 non-K, so virtually the same.

Did this offer expire? I see $899.99 for the 32GB version now.
