I got the larger but perhaps older NEO300 (268.8 Wh) version for $90 March of last year from the link below. It came well packaged - so much so that I store it in the original packaging.

I know inflation, but I think 300Wh is a good size for a multi-use but not strong enough to power appliances. We've used it to power lights and small fans for camp and power outages.

I guess this can do the stuff I used mine for but at half the runtime. If you work from home, I suppose this smaller version can charge a laptop, second (usb-c) monitor, and wifi hotspot for a day or two in case of an outage.

I bought this one about a year ago. it has been excellent and is very portable. I use it for charging and powering smaller devices and when placing temporary cameras in odd locations. I can extend the WH capacity when needed by hooking up a 12v battery. It is very handy when I need to use my old laptop which needs constant charging and a regular outlet is not handy.

everyone loves a low price, but this thing is pretty tiny. it will charge a late model smartphone about 7-8 times from 0% if not used for anything else, for perspective

If you are going to buy a large Lithium battery powered anything and are storing it in your house, car, or apartment you want a name brand appliance. Not a brand named DaranEner

Please point to just a few a instances of these being dangerous? Not saying they cant be, but is it a real issue? They all use LiFePo4 cells these days. This chemistry has a good reputation of being very safe. As popular as these kinda batteries are these days, if they were dangerous, I think we'd be seeing more instances popping up in the news or something. Maybe they are dangerous and i just don't hear about it. I dunno, Maybe they are very dangerous but the news chooses to hide and never point out the dangers. Educate me.

This is a good unit to use as 179.2Wh Power Bank, and it also has 300W pure sine wave inverter, at only $88, and it is LiFePO4 batteries which is very safe, you can't get 179.2Wh PowerBank with LiFePO4 at this price.
Notes: do not get fooled by the high XXXXXXmAh advertised rating of the PowerBank, advertise mAh rating without the Voltage rating means nothing, look for Wh instead for real PowerBank capacity.

This particular company uses the bottom of the barrel Lifepo4 cells, often repurposed, with shady BMSs and thin wires that will overheat with extended use. I don't know why I'm telling you about any of this as there are plenty of YouTube teardown videos of this particular brand stating the exact same thing.

This particular company? How do you know all this? I've never seen those videos about this brand and I've watched so so many and the reviews I've seen are actually really good. I watched a lot of them because i bought one of their larger models. The neo2000. Its much larger and am very happy with it. It doesn't get hot,.. ever. even when I'm using a microwave and toaster at the same time taxing it with a little over 2000 watts in the morning. The website says they use EV grade LiFePO4 batteries from the world's leading battery manufacturer. they say these batteries maintain 80% capacity after 3500 cycles and 50% capacity after 6500 cycles Are you going to point me in a direction that shows how dangerous and crappy these bottom of the barrel batteries are? Or you just gonna tell me to go find videos myself? If there's so many of these videos, just point me to a couple. Youve seen them, I havent. I tried many keywords but searching "DaranEner battery station teardown" should of came up with something. You'd think. What keywords do you suggest i search and I'll go try again.

Just point me to 1 single teardown video of someone opening up a DaranEner battery station. Just one. Should be easy for you to find just one with the many you claimed you've seen. You apparently seen the BMS they use, so what brand BMS do they use? You're lying I'm calling you out. Prove me wrong. Show me these teardown videos showing cheap bms's and shoddy less that A grade batteries. You cant. They don't exist. I've been looking and looking. Cant find any.. because there aren't any.
